Our Own English High School - Boys

Welcome to Our Own English High School - Sharjah, the well established boys’ wing of this high quality KG 1 to Grade 12 school. The school itself was founded in 1982, but the boys’ wing moved to a new campus in September 2007.

We are located in Juwaiza’a, a spacious new suburb 15 kilometres from Sharjah International Airport and 10 kilometres from Sharjah National Park. With a rich and diverse mix of students, we are committed to promoting multi-cultural understanding and emphasising the importance of social and moral development.

All our students follow the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, which prepares them for the All India Secondary School Examination at grade 10, and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination at grade 12. This provides students with an internationally recognised qualification which is accepted by leading universities and colleges around the world.

Our new campus, built for primary, secondary and senior secondary boys, features an exceptional range of facilities to ensure the highest level and academic, creative and physical development.

There’s a spacious library with panoramic views, state-of-the-art science laboratories, four ICT labs, a multipurpose hall for functions and inter-school activities, audio-visual facilities and fantastic sporting equipment.

We like to make the most of our outstanding facilities by offering a full and varied range of extra-curricular activities, including creative and performing arts, music club, maths club, a debating society, arts and crafts, and science club. And, to keep all our young learners on their toes, we offer coaching in football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, track and field, and host regular inter-school events.
