Our Mission
Throughout our more than 60 years in education, our mission has remained unwavering – to put a quality education within the reach of every learner.
In the words of GEMS Education Founder Sunny Varkey, “The most important gifts you can give your child are a quality education and the values that will guide them through life”. Our goal, as teachers and educators, is to ensure our parents can deliver these priceless gifts to the most important people in their lives – their children.
That’s what binds all our schools together
It’s the common thread that unites all GEMS schools and all GEMS teachers. Because no matter which of our schools your child attends, no matter which curriculum they follow, and no matter where their interests and strengths lie, one thing is always constant: the quality of their education.
We like to think of ourselves as an optimistic, forward-looking and innovative company. We know the value of time-honoured traditions. We appreciate the importance of remembering, understanding and learning from our past.
But we also know that education can’t stand still. Our world is forever changing, and the challenges and opportunities faced by one generation are not the same as those encountered by the next.
That’s why a GEMS education will always be relevant, useful and grounded in real-world practice, equipping the future change-makers in our care with the skills, knowledge and wisdom to live out a life that is happy, fulfilling and meaningful. One that makes the world a better place.
