Pastoral Care

"Pupils are exceptionally well cared for and this underpins their outstanding personal development." Independent Schools Inspectorate.

We believe a school should be a place of excitement and wonder so we take care to provide a quality education in a caring and individualised learning environment. This is enhanced through our friendly and constructive partnership with parents.

Commitment to the welfare our pupils is the prime concern of our staff. We carefully monitor the progress of every child and make sure they are set appropriately challenging targets for learning.

We understand children learn significantly more in a happy, supportive and well-balanced environment. So all our students have an enriching well-rounded education, that helps to builds their confidence and self-discipline.

Our child-centred approach nurtures each child’s abilities. We teach students to think independently, to use their initiative and innovation, and to actively participate in the learning process. We place strong emphasis on achievement and celebration of success in all areas of school life.

Working together is extremely important. Our pastoral care programme is underpinned by the on-going development of relationships between the children and staff, and with their fellow pupils.

We want to inspire our students to make school a place where young minds are prepared for a lifetime of learning and personal fulfilment.

Our strong links with parents make sure they are fully informed of their child’s progress or about any concerns we may have. Likewise, we encourage parents to contact us immediately if they are worried about any aspect of their child’s life at our school.
