Wellington International School Parents Association (WISPA)
WISPA are a very proactive Parents Association who organise social and fund raising events for the school community.
For The Parents
WISPA organise social events, coffee mornings, meet and greet sessions enabling new families to meet with existing WIS families i.e. Induction Day.
For The Students
WISPA ask for student participation with events like International Day, the Spring Fair and the running of stalls.
For The Staff
WISPA supports the WIS staff in any way they can. It may be by organising class functions, decorating corridors, supporting children with reading or excursions. WISPA welcome volunteers who wish to act as Classroom Representatives to help with these activities.
WISPA Events and Meetings
The WISPA volunteers have organised some fantastic events in school like International Day, the Shoebox Appeal, the Spring Fair, Bake Sales, WISPA Summer Ball and much more. Parent volunteers are always welcome in school and help in so many ways either decorating the Library or reading with children. WISPA have also donated money to the Rock Challenge, Wellingtons Got Talent, books for a school in Vietnam and the Seniors Prom.
Please keep an eye on the WISPA notice board which is located down stairs in the Parent’s Lounge in the Blue Frog Café. All forthcoming events and coffee mornings will be posted on the board. If you have any questions regarding WISPA then please contact the Reception/Registrars office.
WISPA is not involved with academic or administrative matters of the school; this is the responsibility of the Principal.
